My name is Cole and I am the new sport performance coach at IBJI Health Performance Institute, formerly known as Oak Athletic Development. I grew up in Manteno, Illinois graduating from Manteno High School in 2017. I then attended Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin where I played college football and earned my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.I stayed at Carroll University to earn my master’s degree in Sport Physiology and Performance Coaching. While obtaining my master’s degree I had the opportunity to work as an Assistant Human Performance Coach for a variety of athletic teams at Carroll. During that time I was able to gain valuable coaching experience as well as conducting research that gave me a great understanding of the science behind training for sport performance and overall well-being. After earning my master’s I went to Texas Tech University and worked as a strength and conditioning intern with their football strength staff. At TTU I had the chance to learn from strength coaches at the highest level and work with some top level athletes.
At IBJI Health Performance Institute we offer dynamic classes focused on sport performance, injury prevention, and general fitness. We offer private personal and team training as well as classes that are offered six days a week for adults, middle school athletes, and high school athletes. I am excited for the opportunity I have here at the Health Performance Institute to help people of all ages and abilities achieve their fitness goals!
